All horses and camels in early training when extra calcium is required to strengthen limb bones in response to training.

After spelling horses or camels where quick adaptation and return to training is paramount, use Cell-Osteo™ to support strength of bone remodelling.

Young horses which are galloped too fast – too early and develop from “shin soreness” or “Bucked Shins” (Dorsal Metacarpal Disease), required Cell-Osteo for support (Refer to bone photographs).

Breeding and growing horses and camels in outdoor areas where windy conditions blow powdered supplements out of feed bins.

Horses and camels which “sift-out” powders from feeds.

MAJOR INGREDIENTS

Cell-Osteo is scientifically formulated to contain essential bone minerals for horse health, vitality and wellbeing.  The formulation is regularly updated to the latest guidelines for optimum nutrition in horses.

  • A range of bone minerals, including calcium, phosphorus and magnesium
  • Vitamin A and D3 for optimum calcium absorption
  • Supported by inorganic and organic chelated trace-minerals including copper, zinc and manganese at balanced levels for optimum bone health
  • Fully organic chelated selenium and chromium
  • Cell-Osteo is pelleted and palatable and mixes well into feeds (wet or dry). Reduces wastage from dust, sift-out, sludging and blow away from feeders.
  • Cell-Osteo does not swab or contain any banned substances
SUPPLEMENTATION GUIDELINES

Each level scoopful of Cell-Osteo provides 40 grams (LARGE END) and 15 grams (SMALL END) of the double ended scoop.

For horses in pretraining, 2-3 year old race horses, or older horses during first and second preparations for racing or upper level equestrian training, provide 120 grams per day

For horses in daily race training or upper level equestrian and endurance training, provide 80 grams daily.

Spelling Horses for the first 10 – 14 days, provide 60 grams daily.

Equestrian horses during regular daily training and fed grain, fat-boosted or high lucerne diets, provide 60 grams daily

Adult Show Ponies and Miniatures in regular daily training and fed grain, fat-boosted or high lucerne diets, provide 40 grams daily.
